This place is wet and damp – as is most of the west coast of New Zealand’s South Island. Debbie and I had gone here to photograph the limestone arches that this park is famous for, (we took this shot of Moria Gate on the same day) when we came across this pretty bend in a stream. The brown/black water is the result of the peaty soil the water flows over.
I used a tripod, wide angle lens and post production work was done in camera RAW.
