These illustrations of native New Zealand birds first appeared in the stunning book: ‘A History of The Birds of New Zealand’ by Walter Buller and published in the 1870s. The artwork for this book was done by JG Keulemans, a renowned Dutch artist who lived and worked in England and never set foot in New Zealand! They have been re-purposed here as a wedding stationary set that celebrates New Zealand fauna and, of course, the client’s wedding. The birds featured are the tui, kingfisher, kakapo and kaka.
