Ta Prohm looks like something out of Tomb Raider (which it is). The fact that the trees are growing all over it only adds to its appeal. Of all the temples in Angkor Wat this was my favourite because of the snakey tree roots. It’s hard to get a shot without other tourists in the picture. The trick is to go first thing in the morning while everyone else is still at Angkor Wat. If you have a wide angle lens bring it as I didn’t at that time and you have to stand hard against a wall to fit it all in with a standard 50mm lens.
What you can’t tell from the photo is how hot and muggy it is. I drunk my own body weight in water every 2 hours.
