Omo Valley boy
This kid lives in Omo valley, Southern Ethiopia and had the most intense gaze I’ve ever encountered. I had to crop the photo a bit strange close to accomodate my website but I really wanted to zoom in on him for full impact. The deal is that you have to pay everytime you take a photo and for some people that really grated. Personally _ I don’t mind because at least some of the money goes into the local communities.

I love this shot – the look on this kids face and you have the focus on the eyes perfect.
